We recently had the chance to sit down with Johnny Mags from Pit Life BBQ Podcast ahead of his final competition in the New England Triple Crown BBQ series. We talked about all things grilling—and most importantly, we got his honest, unfiltered review of the GrillFighter toolset.

While using the Scraper Plow to remove stubborn char, Johnny found himself wishing there was a way to clean underneath the grate. Then he realized: there is. The end with the bottle opener also features serrated bumps—designed specifically to scrape the underside of grill grates. A small, brilliant detail that solved a real problem.

Johnny ran the GrillFighter through two different scenarios using his kettles:
